Our Sunday Morning Church School classes are held at 9:45 a.m. beginning the Sunday after Labor Day and continue until Easter. Currently, we have one adult class on Sunday morning which is taught by the rector. A second class is occasionally offered and focuses on parenting or family issues. Our children's preschool age class uses Cokesbury's new curriculum "BIG" and our elementary age classes use Augsburg Fortress, "Witness" as their teaching guides. Special seasonal activities such as All Saints Celebration, Deck the Doors Contest during Advent and special arts and crafts projects and activities are planned during all seasons of the year to coordinate with the curriculum.
M & M (Music and a Meal), is our children's choir program on Wednesday afternoons! Choir is offered to children who are in 3 year old preschool through fifth grade. The fun begins at 4:30 p.m. each Wednesday for our children. Rebecca Fordham and Rozanna Vancil Goocy lead our children's choirs. The Cherub Choir for preschoolers and kindergarteners meets at 4:30 p.m. and Junior Choir (first and second grades) and Schola Nova (third through fifth grade) meet from 5:00 to 6:00. The Junior Choir and the Schola Nova also provide children opportunities to explore music through the use of instruments.
